Join us OUTSIDE, in conjunction with Rutland Region Chamber of Commerce, for our September Mix at Casella Construction! John Casella II and Joseph Casella will share details about their upcoming annual October fundraiser, Wheels for Warmth, as well as a look into the world of Casella Construction.
Join us in Proctor for a leisurely paddle from the Proctor Falls down the meandering Otter Creek to Gorham Bridge. Paddle past tranquil farm country and maybe even see a titular otter. The downstream trip will take about half an hour at a leisurely pace while the upstream trip will take about 45 minutes and will be a little more of a workout. Afterwards, we can all meet up at Franklin's for a beverage and appetizers.
This event will be dependent upon the weather, the river level, the current, and whether or not there have been any recent combined sewer overflows. Participants must bring their own kayak or canoe, life vest, paddle, and transportation to and from.
Location Details: Proctor Falls recreation area off of Patch St. Park in the parking area and bring your canoe or kayak to the beach area to launch.

Our August mix takes us to Omya in Florence, VT starting at 5:30 (please note time change). We'll hear from Plant Manager, Wayne Wilmans. Half hour tours of the plant will be available on a first come first serve basis. Catered by Café Provence!

Hear from a company representative about their different offerings such as IT support, Web Design, Social Media and SEO brand strategies, Website Hosting, Cyber Security and more.
Plus - Drone Demonstrations! Guests will have the chance to fly smaller units and take virtual flights using the Google viewing system with larger drones. Weather dependent.

NEW THIS YEAR – Registered members of the Rutland Young Professionals have voting privileges and the right to participate in our governance. This year, we are proposing a slate of nominees to fill four at-large board seats, as well as the positions of treasurer, secretary, and president-elect. Voting will require a quorum of our registered members and will take place by voice vote of those who are in attendance.
Our June Mix will begin immediately following at 6 PM. We'll hear from outgoing president Will Gormly and incoming president Steve Peters.

RYP is excited to curl up with a partner, Rutland Rocks Curling Club (RRCC), for this meet-up! Beginning off the ice in the warm room at Giorgetti Arena you'll learn the basic rules, etiquette, and strategy of curling along with techniques for delivering and sweeping the stone. You’ll then get to practice your new skills on the ice by playing an abbreviated game! No equipment needed. Just wear clean, rubber-soled shoes and comfortable, movable, weather-appropriate clothing.
After the game, come warm up with us at Strangefellows Pub for “broomstacking”. During this traditional après-curling event, the winning team customarily buys the losing team drinks. In this case, your ticket includes one drink ticket and a taco bar! Curling will be on the TVs and good vibes will be all around. Space is limited, you don’t want to miss this!

The Marble Valley Runners are hosting a meet-up Tuesday November 21st at 6:20 pm. Whether you’re looking to prep for a turkey trot, turkey dinner or are looking to run for fun, please join us for a social 5K with drinks and food for purchase at Strangefellows Pub after the run! The Pittsford Haunted House is great fun and really quite the show! Each year, the volunteer fire department puts this thing on and it has become their largest fundraiser.
Before we head over to get the bejesus scared out of us, plan to meet for chili, beers, cider, whatever you wanna bring to the pot-luck style pre-game! We will leave for the Haunted House around 7:45-8 pm. Should be all done by 10 pm. Plan to leave separately from the Haunted House, so car-pool accordingly!
