RYP Futures Scholarship
for High School Seniors
Rutland Young Professionals is committed to building a community that attracts and retains young professionals through the creation of social and professional networking opportunities. We are proud to live and work in the Rutland area and want to support the development of the next generation of young professionals in Vermont.
RYP is offering a scholarship in the amount of $500 to two seniors graduating from a Rutland County high school, to be used toward post-secondary education or training being pursued in the State of Vermont. Funds may be used for tuition, room and board, or other educational materials like textbooks and supplies.
Qualifications
The applicant must be a Rutland County high school senior with plans to attend a college, university, or trade school/program in Vermont beginning in the Summer/ Fall of 2024.
Scholarship Criteria
RYP will consider demonstrated community service, academic achievement, and the applicant’s personal statement when considering scholarship recipients.

Please submit your completed application by Friday, May 10, 2024, at 5 p.m.
Decision & Distribution
Applications will be reviewed by the RYP Board of Directors. RYP will inform the recipient no later than Monday, June 3, 2o24.
